This is an application for pre-settled status. If you are from the EU, Switzerland, Norway, Iceland or Liechtenstein or a family member of someone who is and you started living in the UK by 31 December 2020 - or you're applying to join or remain with your family member who did - you'll need evidence to prove your identity, continuous residence in the UK and that it started by 31 December 2020, eligibility to apply after 30 June 2021, relationship to your family member, and their eligibility or status under the EU Settlement Scheme.

This is an application for settled status. If you are from the EU, Switzerland, Norway, Iceland or Liechtenstein, and you started living in the UK by 31 December 2020 - or you're applying on the basis that both you and your EU family member did and have continuously resided in the UK for 5 years or more then you may be eligibility to apply for settlement under the EU Settlement Scheme.

This application is an EU settlement scheme family permit application that is used by family members of European citizens including Switzerland, Norway, Iceland or Liechtenstein seeking to join them in the UK. You can also apply as the family member of a British citizen or a person of Northern Ireland.
