Marriage Visit Visa

This marriage visit visa application is for someone visiting the UK to get married. Please note that you can only remain in the UK for a maximum period of 6 months during your visit.  Under this category you must be applying to enter and stay in the UK to either get married or form a civil partnership with your partner. You must also give notice of your intention to marry or form a civil partnership. Most of our clients who make this application will enter the UK to get married and then leave the UK for the purpose of applying for a spouse visa to re-enter the UK as a spouse.

To be eligible to apply under this route you need to meet the relevant immigration rules which include the following requirements:

• Must have an intention to leave the UK at the end of your visit.
• Must be in a position to prove that you are able to support yourself for the duration of your trip.
• Must be able to show that you can pay for your return flights.
