Are You Eligible?

To be eligible for a UK spouse visa, there are certain criteria that you and your spouse need to meet. You must be married to your spouse and you must have met in person. Your spouse must either be a British national residing in the UK or intending to reside in the UK or hold indefinite leave to remain or settled status in the UK. You and your spouse must be able to demonstrate that you are in a genuine and subsisting relationship and that your spouse meets the financial requirements and has adequate means to support and accommodate you and any dependants in the UK. You may also need to demonstrate that you meet the English language requirements.
